Monroe Crossing performs an electrifying blend of traditional and original bluegrass music, as well as some surprising songs outside the genre. Named in honor of Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music, Monroe Crossing’s superb musicianship and on-stage rapport have entertained audiences throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
Members of the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, Monroe Crossing has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years, performing over 2,600 shows. Whether appearing in an intimate room, community theater, major venue or outdoor festival, Monroe Crossing always presents a highly entertaining show making them favorites among bluegrass connoisseurs and non-bluegrass audiences alike!
Kohlrabi Soup Bluegrass Band
Formed in 2022, Kohlrabi Soup is a Fargo-based bluegrass band blending traditional bluegrass, old-time, folk, and Americana into an energetic, heartfelt live show. Known for tight vocal harmonies, dynamic instrumental performances, and original songwriting, the band has quickly become a staple of the region's roots music scene. In 2025, they released their debut album, Little Wild Bouquet, showcasing their passion for acoustic music and storytelling.
As the host band of the Red River Roots Bluegrass Festival, Kohlrabi Soup is committed to growing the bluegrass community across the Northern Plains. Their performances have included the Missouri River Bluegrass Festival at Cross Ranch State Park, Milaca RecFest, and opening for Pert Near Sandstone in 2026. Whether on a festival stage or in an intimate venue, Kohlrabi Soup brings an authentic, high-energy celebration of traditional American music to every performance.
Friends and Neighbors
Friends and Neighbors spent years building a reputation as one of the region's most beloved acoustic groups, bringing together heartfelt harmonies, skilled musicianship, and a genuine love for traditional American music. After disbanding in 2023, Friends and Neighbors return to the stage for a special reunion performance; one that will also serve as the band's final appearance together.
